 Come hear a little about the history and mystery of fascinating and fun sewing buttons from around the world. There will be several displays of buttons and button books. Every attendee will receive a sampler packet of buttons in a variety of materials, all identified to enable new learners to identify their own buttons at home.

A question and answer session will follow the program.

About the presenter: Mona Abrahamson has been learning about and avidly collecting sewing buttons for ten years. She is a member of the National Button Society, Iowa State Button Society (and editor of the ISBS Bulletin), and Central Iowa Button Club.
