Intro to Short-Form Improv:

Learn the fundamentals of improvisation. Comics In Action teaches "short-form" improv comedy, focusing on: scene work, collaboration, making strong/smart choices, and how to be funny without using crutches. By focusing on the information at the beginning of scenes, our intent is to help students create an improv road map within their first few moments on stage.

Through a series of "warm-ups" and "short-form" improv games, the class's interactive structure will help students build listening & communication skills, heighten awareness, teach students how to give & take, and to be more spontaneous, flexible, trusting and flexible with their fellow performers.
