 This January 21st the Cedar Rapids Public Library has partnered with St Paul's Methodist Church and Coe College to remember and celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. On the 21st Evelyn R. Carter, PhD and mother Anne will present a workshop at the Cedar Rapids Public Library entitled "Why Colorblindness Falls Short". E Carter has selected a book, Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. In the program tonight we will highlight the plot, themes and participants will be able to check out copies (while supplies last) to prepare for the event on the 21st.
