Calling all caregivers, family members, supporters and people living with a chronic conditions. Are you living with cancer or another condition? Looking for a way to connect with others who can understand and relate? Consider joining Care Club-A book club designed for people who give or need care.
This club is open to people living with chronic conditions and caregivers, and offers camaraderie, education, and conversation. Participants will read a selected book and be ready and willing to participate in conversation about the book each week.
The fall session will meet for four weeks at the Cedar Rapids Public Library beginning October 1 on Monday nights at 6:30PM. Pre-registration is required. There is no charge to participate, but the club will be limited to 12 members. The selected book will be given to you and will be yours to keep at the conclusion of the club. Registration will close on 9/19 or when the session is full so that books and reading assignments can be distributed.
