 Join us as we trace the history of politics in the US. Learn about the principles the United States was founded upon, how these principals have traditionally represented certain groups and how parties became so polarized. Discuss how you being involved in the political process and your voice really matters.
In the first session we will look at the history of politics, in the second session we will discuss society and culture in politics and speakers will be on hand to field questions and get you ready for the polls November 6th. In the final session we will have a small panel available to help navigate and disseminate political information.
These sessions are participatory so come prepared to discuss and exchange ideas with civility.
Due to the library being closed September 3rd, the first session will be held September 11th. The following two sessions will be on the first Monday of the month.
