Game Generation

Event Type: Teen
Age Group(s): Teen
Date: 6/11/2018
Start Time: 12:30 PM
End Time: 4:30 PM
Go from a game player to a game creator during Game Generation. We’ll focus on the art and design of real games, none of that virtual, video stuff. Delve into the stages of game creation, from initial concept to play testing with friends. Start with old school games like Monopoly and Candyland to learn the best play styles and mechanics to make your own game. The rest of the week we will plan and develop our own games. Will you make a sci-fi version of Clue? Maybe you’ll create the next party game. Who knows? After all of that hard work, we’ll demonstrate and display our board games on the last day of camp.

Game Generation is a week long camp that meets 12:30-4:30 pm daily. By registering for this event, you are enrolled in all five days of camp.
